Co-Founder & Executive Director
Henry Agassi
With 2 years of experience working in the banking industry and over 5 years in the youth and personal development industry. Henry's role as the Executive Director of Henry & Kaitlyn Agassi Foundation is to oversea the affairs of the organization. He is responsible for the day to day activities of this organization to make sure its operates within the law; and in the most ethical ways that will help us make meaning impact in our community.
Henry is an author and speaker. He has appeared on television, podcast, and radio to share his story and ideas. He is a TEDx Speaker, he was a volunteer mentor with the Yonge Street mission, a Youth Leader with Agin Court Pentecostal Church in Toronto, and a speaker with Passages Canada a part of Historical Canada.
Henry has a BA with a major in Economics from University of Windsor. He holds both Nigerian and Canadian Citizenships but he considers himself a global citizen because he enjoy different cultures.

Kaitlyn McMillan-Agassi

Kaitlyn is a dedicated educator, a primary school teacher who has worked in Canada, Nigeria and Qatar. She graduated from the University of Windsor and St.Clair College in 2015 with a BA in Child Psychology, BEd in primary/junior division and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She currently spend her day in a Kindergarten classroom, teaching children how to read and write; and providing them with opportunities to develop skills and love for learning.
Kaitlyn is from Ontario, Canada and enjoys reading and knitting in her spare time.

Mr. Philip Anthony
Philip Anthony is an international teacher, businessman, advisor, founder and president of SIPO Foundation in Canada, an organization dedicated to inspire, connect and equip young people through personal and professional development. Together with his wife, they also started, the Crown Pillars children's home in Nigeria, a place where orphans and underprivileged children can find professional and emotional support, protection and security through shelter, medical care, food and basic education.

Mr. Smah George Josiah
Smah George Josiah, is a TV & Radio Broadcaster and presenter with over 10 years of experience working with Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) Lafia. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Journalism, University of Maiduguri, Nigeria and a Bachelor of Sciences (Zoology) from University of Jos, Nigeria.
Apart from journalism, Mr. George has worked with various organizations including a 3rd party organization for Female Reproductive Health Care in collaboration with Clinton Health Access Initiative International (CHAI) where Mr. George reported from hard to reach areas in Nasarawa State on Missed Opportunity Tracking(MOT) Intervention Program.
The desire of meeting the needs of the Vulnerable in Nasarawa state necessitated me joining a Non Governmental Organization in 2015 called Confidence Building Initiative International COBII with the thematic areas which included Confidence Building among pupils and Students, serving as the Director of Media and Publicity.
Mr. Smah George Josiah, has also produced a documentary for EU/UNICEF intervention program in Adamawa state, North Eastern Nigeria where he x-rayed the activities of the EU/UNICEF on primary and secondary health facilities that conducted a research on the prevalence of Schistosomiasis (Bilharzia) using stools and urine in Giza Community in Nigeria. This led to the award of Bachelor of Sciences in Zoology.
In 2018, he carried out an important research case study; which appraises the Impact of Information Communication Technology on the Middle belt, Nigeria, as part of his Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism.

Tammy Alvarez, RN, MSN, CCRN-K
Tammy Alvarez is currently President and CEO of PIE, LLC. She currently works with healthcare
organizations to put systems and infrastructure in place to improve safety, quality, regulatory care
management and operations. She provides executive coaching to executive teams, mid-level leaders
and frontline caregivers.
Prior to this Tammy served as Vice President Patient Safety, High Reliability, Regulatory and
Accreditation Services at Providence St. Joseph Health. Her role spanned across 7 states, 50 hospitals
and 110 ambulatory clinics. Prior to this role Tammy served as the Executive Director of Performance
Improvement at St Joseph Health. During her tenure she has implemented and re- designed numerous
processes to improve quality and clinical care. Most recently, the work in sepsis has saved 1000 lives
and 10 million dollars. As a health care leader with 34 years of experience, she has had the
opportunity to serve in various leadership roles. Tammy served as Chief Nursing Officer at Community
Hospital of Long beach from 2008-2010. During her tenure in this position, she reduced registry by
40%, decreased turnover by 50% and assisted in many practice changes to enhance the quality of care
and the promotion of excellence. Prior to this, Tammy was the Manager at Saint Joseph Hospital of
Orange from 2000-2008 specializing in Critical Care Services. She was responsible for nursing services
specializing in cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and renal transplant patient populations. She was
responsible for operations, system improvement and development of best practices that spread
hospital and system wide.
Tammy is currently board chair for Community Health Initiative of Orange County. The organization
targets the poor and the vulnerable to provide access to healthcare and other needed services. Tammy
served on Camino Health Center board for 10 years and chaired the quality committee. She provided
guidance an expertise on various aspects of the clinic to ensure patients were seen timely and safely.
Tammy is a member of the IHI Faculty for the past 20 years. She is an advocate for patient and family
centered care. She started the first patient family advisory program at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange in
2007. Through this work and her passion, commitment and dedication to patients and families, she
assisted in the implementation of Condition H (Patient and Family Emergency escalation in the
Hospital). Tammy received her nursing degree at Cypress College in Cypress, California. Tammy
received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from California State University, Dominguez
Hills in Carson, California.
Tammy has been married for 33 years and has two children: Eddie 31 and Alex, 26. She is a proud
grandmother of Zayla 6, Zander 4, Zane, 5 months, and Zayden 9 months.

Hikon Joel is a dynamic professional with a unique blend of experience spanning 1 year in banking, 4 years in hospitality (food business), proven track record of strategic decision-making, financial acumen, and customer-centric leadership. He is very passionate about making a difference in our communities. Mr. Joel is adept at navigating diverse industries, therefore bringing fresh perspectives to boardroom discussions. His ability to drive growth, optimize operational efficiency, and adapt to evolving market dynamics is essential to the growth of our organization. Mr. Joel is ready to contribute his multifaceted skill set, and collaborative approach to decision making in ways that will elevate the organization's board governance.
